2001 Turkey Flat Vineyards Shiraz

It is not clear just how much of the 1847 Shiraz is in this wine, but it is certainly claimed that a component of this very old vine exists. Very deep crimson colour with crimson hue. Aroma of liquorice, blackberry, plum, spice and vanilla. Good palate weight with flavours of spice, blackpepper, cedar and mocca emerging. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance with cedar, plum and blackberry aftertaste.
