2001 Tribute Shiraz

Wine maker Phil Christiansen sourced grapes from three different vineyards in order to gain added complexity for this wine. This is a very big wine, big on fruit, big on oak and big on flavours.

Very deep crimson black colour, with deep crimson purple hue. The nose is pronounced with distinct aroma of dark chocolate and mocca, followed by a very strong blackpepper end note. The palate is a fruit bomb of ripe fruit flavours coupled by toasted oak. Mouth filling flavours of dark chocolate, mocca, spice, blackpepper and toasted oak fill the mouth, followed by a layer of ripe plum, strong blackpepper and vanilla. Perfect balance, followed by a very long aftertaste.
