The nose starts off very well with this wine, but the palate does not quite deliver the layers of flavour that are promised early on. The palate has a very crisp acid backbone which tends to dominate the wine for the time being. Flavours of spice, butterscotch and yeast lees emerge over a grapefruit background.

Bright pale gold colour showing oxidative barrel ferment character. Aroma of butterscotch and yeast lees followed by hints of peach, spice and biscuit. The palate flavours are drier than the nose would have us support. Flavours of cashew, nut, yeast lees and biscuit emerging, quite dry. Clean acid finish. Cashew, biscuit lees aftertaste.
