Vibrant crimson mauve, purple colour. Lifted nose, with aroma of spice, liquorice allsorts, blackberry and vanilla. The palate has good weight with lots of youthful blackberry flavours over a spice, liquorice and plum background. Fine grained, dry tannins, excellent balance, followed by a very long blackberry, liquorice aftertaste.
