2001 Rosnay Organic Shiraz

Rosnay is a bio-dynamic agricultural enterprise which is managed on the ‘Clos’ system, whereby individuals purchase blocks of land and share capital equipment. Established in 1997, the house blocks are located together in a quasi suburban environment while the remaining property forms a large scale, efficient farming system.

Totally opaque black, purple colour. The nose displays a spice and blackberry top note, followed by a hint of liquorice and pepper. Excellent palate weight with generous mouthfeel: big flavours of mocca, dark chocolate and blackberry are followed by a hint of liquorice. Fine grained tannins, followed by a liquorice, spice and dark chocolate aftertaste. An excellent full bodied, spicy organic red.
