2001 Pike & Joyce Pinot Noir

Translucent, brick red colour. Relatively light weight. Aroma of spice and strawberry followed by a hint of game over a raspberry end note. The palate delivers strong varietal flavours with a velvet smooth texture. The flavour of cherry is followed by a touch of truffle and spice. Excellent length with moderate power wave emerging. Soft tannins, followed by an earthy, truffle and spice aftertaste.
