2001 Peter Lehmann Semillon Chardonnay

A very good Commercial quaffer. Brilliant pale straw colour. Aroma of melon, tropical fruit and peach, with the ripe fruit notes of the Chardonnay dominant. On the palate, the ripe fruit flavours of peach and tropical fruit are dominant. On the back palate, a touch of coarseness is evident, but more than acceptable. Soft acid finish, followed by peach and tropical fruit aftertaste. Cellar 1 – 2 years. (2002 – 2003)
