2001 Penfolds Rawson's Retreat Chardonnay

This wine has plenty of ripe fruit flavours and is certainly very drinkable. Deep straw, with pale gold hues. Aroma of melon, spice, and tropical fruit. On the palate, fully ripened flavours of melon and tropical fruit followed by spice. Excellent balance. Cellar 1 – 2 years. (2002 – 2003)
