2001 Paracombe The Reubin Dry Red

A superb blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Shiraz grown by a small group of specialist wine growers in the Adelaide Hills. 6 clones of Cabernet have been used which adds to the complexity of the wine. Very deep crimson purple colour with purple mauve hue. Perfumed nose of cedar, spice and violets meshed to an almost seamless blend. Nuances of blackcurrant, cedar, violets, liquorice allsorts and white pepper. Excellent length and balance with exceptionally long white pepper aftertaste. Velvet smooth.
