A BLOCKBUSTER OF A RED! Oddfellows is a relatively new partnership being established in 1997. The company does not have its own winery at this stage, instead relying on the facilities at LAKE BREEZE. In the USA, wine critic ROBERT PARKER and WINE SPECTATOR magazine have both written highly of the wine.
Totally opaque black purple colour with deep purple hue. The nose displays concentrated flavours of blackberry, vanilla and liquorice – providing an excellent sniff. The palate is monumental in weight, showing classic fruit bomb character. Ripe blackberry, vanilla, cedar and plum are followed by a warm, spicy back palate. Fine grained, slightly dusty tannins followed by a warm spicy aftertaste.
