2001 NXG Next Generation The Collection Cabernet Sauvignon

Very deep black crimson colour with purple hue. Aroma of cedar and blackcurrant followed by notes of toasted oak and spice. The palate has flavours of stewed fruit and plum over a layer of liquorice. Fine dusty dry tannins with a hint of tar emerging on the back palate. Warm peppery aftertaste.
