2001 Nepenthe Vineyards The Rogue Cabernet Merlot

This is the second release of ‘the Rogue’. Medium body crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Appealing nose of confectionary, blackcurrant, mulberry and dark chocolate. The palate shows subdued flavours of spice, liquorice, dark chocolate and blackcurrant. Soft fine grained tannins followed by a plum spice blackcurrant aftertaste.
