Region: The area of Poggio La Mozza in Tuscany
Production: Fermentation took place on the skins over fifteen days and the wine was pumped over the skins twice a day. The wine was placed in the bottle after four months without spending any time in oak. The wine remained a further two months in the bottle before release.
Characteristics: This wine is a brilliant ruby red in colour with an intense fruity bouquet. The nose and palate has hints of spice and liquorice and flavours of dark cherries.The wine is very fresh and well balanced, having an easily enjoyable palate.
Serve: 16° C
Try it with: A wine that can be easily enjoyed with most foods. Especially good with meats, pasta and spicy dishes.
