Frank Mitolo is the largest onion and potato grower in the Southern Hemisphere and has recently turned his attention to wine. Mitolo has engaged the services of Colin Glaetzer's son, Ben Glaetzer , to make his wine and it’s no surprise that Ben's reds strongly resemble those made by his father.

Very deep black purple mauve colour. The nose is lifted with aroma of liquorice, plum, spice and vanilla, followed by end notes of earth and straw. Full bodied palate, with plenty of weight. Layers of spice, liquorice and toasted oak over a joosy plum background. Excellent length. Fine grained tannins, followed by a long blackpepper vanilla aftertaste.
