2001 Masi Costasera Amerone Classico

This wine has been made from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinare grapes which have been semi-dried for 3-4 months. Very deep crimson brick red colour with brick red crimson hue. Top note of dried raisin, followed by a hint of tar, old leather, spice and toasted oak. On the palate flavours of raisins, tar and toast, followed by liquorice and confectionary. Spicy back palate flavours. Very warm, spicy aftertaste.
