2001 Lake Breeze Arthur's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Petit Verdot

This wine has been made as a tribute to Arthur John Follett who fist planted vines in the 1880’s. The blend is composed of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Petit Verdot.Almost opaque crimson purple colour with deep mauve hue. Aroma of blackcurrant, cedar, liquorice and spice followed by a hint of violets. The nose has an easily distinguished cassis quality. The wine is still evolving, with flavours of cedar, liquorice and spice, followed by a hint of violet. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedar and dark chocolate.
