2001 Kurtz Family Lunar Block Individual Vineyard Shiraz

This is the third release of the Lunar Block Shiraz, which was named after a vineyard block that was purchased on the 20th of July 1969 – the day Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. Very deep black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Perfumed nose of violets, cedar, spice and liquorice allsorts. The palate lacks complexity even though flavours of plum, stewed fruit and chocolate emerge. Soft tannins. Stewed fruit aftertaste.
