2001 Jim Barry The Lodge Hill Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. The nose is impressive with lifted spice and blackberry top note followed by a touch of violets, plum and spice. Quite a perfumed lift! On the palate, flavours of spice, blackberry and liquorice emerge followed by a warm spicy back palate. Fine grained tannins, liquorice, spice, plum, dark chocolate and liquorice aftertaste.
