2001 Heggies Chardonnay

Bright straw colour. The nose is very interesting - displaying considerable complexity with layers of biscuit and yeast lees over a background of honeycomb, cashews and fig. The palate displays distinct secondary flavours, with subtle butterscotch, yeast lees, honey and cashews. Excellent length, followed by soft acidity and an aftertaste of honey, fig and cashew.
