2001 Hardys Oomoo Shiraz

‘Oomoo’ is the first label that Thomas Hardy launched in the mid 1800’s from McLaren Vale. Hardys have released a premium Shiraz under this label to celebrate their 150th Anniversary. Very deep crimson colour, almost opaque with black heart. Perfumed nose of dark chocolate, vanilla, spice and plum, followed by a violet end note. The palate is generous, mouthfilling with flavours of blackberry, dark chocolate, mocca, vanilla and spice. Firmish tannins, well balanced followed by a very long aftertaste of plum, vanilla and confectionary.
