The Handpicked wines are made by Jon Reynolds who uses the print of the hand as his trademark, as does Seresin in New Zealand – lucky that no two hand prints are the same!
Brilliant straw colour. The nose is delightful, being delicately perfumed, with notes of musk, confectionary and spice, with a tropical fruit end note. On the palate, flavours of tropical fruit, citrus and grapefruit. Excellent weight and mouthfeel with back palate flavours of ripe pineapple. Crisp acid finish, followed by a long aftertaste of spice, pear and tropical fruit. Cellar 1 – 2 years. (2002 – 2003)

RATING: 92/100

A well made wine, but lacks varietal definition. Bright straw colour, with green hue. The nose is subtle, with hints of mango and tropical fruit emerging. On the palate flavours of tropical fruit and a trace of spice and ripe gooseberry – quite simple. Soft acid finish, with aftertaste of ripe gooseberry and tropical fruit.
