2001 Hamilton Hut Block Cabernet Sauvignon

An excellent wine. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. The nose is almost perfumed with aroma of spice, blackcurrant and dark chocolate. The palate delivers generous body weight with flavours of dark chocolate, plum and spice followed by a touch of liquorice. Fine grained dryish tannins, followed by a very long dark chocolate, blackcurrant spice aftertaste.
