2001 Goona Warra Vineyard Cygnus

This is Goona Warra ‘s top wine and only produced in exceptional years. Made from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the wine exhibits very deep crimson brick red colour with brick red hue showing early bottle development. The nose is impressive, with aroma of cedar, mulberry, leather and spice emerging. The palate has a Classic Bordeaux sense of refinement, showing excellent ripe fruit flavours of cedar, blackcurrant, spice and black pepper. Perfect balance. Aftertaste of cedar, mulberry and blackcurrant.
