2001 Garry Crittenden i Barbera

A very dry red. Crimson brick red colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Aroma of confectionary and stewed fruit followed by a hint of leather, earth, cedar and spice. The palate tannins overwhelm the fruit and cause a strong drying effect. Flavours of cedar, spice and stewed fruit struggle to emerge.
