2001 Five Oaks Merlot

Deep crimson colour with crimson hue. The nose displays good lift with notes of stewed fruit, plum, truffle and spice emerging. On the palate flavours of truffle, cedar and spice showing good length and balance. Fine dry tannins followed by a long truffle, mulberry and cedar aftertaste.
