2001 Fairbank Syrah

Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Aroma of stewed plum and spice with hints of earth followed by an aniseed end note. The palate has good weight but not full bodied as one might expect from Central Victoria. Flavours of ripe plum and spice with quite peppery back palate. Fine grained tannins. Very long aftertaste of ripe plum and spice.
