2001 Echuca Wines Shiraz Durif

This wine has been made with 80% Shiraz, grown in Echuca and 20% Durif, sourced from Swan Hill. Very deep crimson brick red colour. Aroma of spice and stewed fruit, followed by spiced plum end note. The palate flavours are short and dominated by firmish dry tannins, which are quite hard. Dry lingering aftertaste of stewed fruit and earth.
