2001 Eaglehawk Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes were sourced from premium winegrowing regions throughout South Eastern Australia giving the wine a full bodied character with wonderful varietal flavours. The fruit was picked at optimum ripeness to provide a fresh, crisp style.Following crushing, the juice was chilled and settled to retain varietal flavour. Fermentation took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. This wine did not receive any oak treatment.
Eaglehawk Semillon Sauvignon Blanc offers delightful citrus and grassy notes courtesy of the semillon, whilst the sauvignon blanc contributes wonderful tropical flavours. This is an excellent lighter style, dry white wine and an ideal accompaniment to a whole range of foods. This is a style best enjoyed in its youth.Alc/Vol: 11/7%
