Notes sourced from Beringer Blass

Fruit was sourced from the company’s own vineyards and selected contract growers in premium vineyard districts in South Eastern Australia.

Cabernet Sauvignon is transported in refrigerated tankers from some of south eastern Australia’s premium growing regions to the Wolf Blass winery in the Barossa Valley. The fruit is crushed and destemmed prior to fermentation. The wine is then gently pressed before a brief period in oak giving a subtle influence on the finished wine without dominating the varietal fruit characters.

The Eaglehawk Cabernet Sauvignon displays attractive spice, mint and berry fruit aromas with a hint of supporting oak. The palate is rich with varietal flavours of blackcurrant and mint, with a soft lingering finish. Cellar up to three years.
Alcohol: 12.5%
