2001 David Traeger Shiraz

This wine is hanging on by its fingernails.
Very developed brick red colour with brick red hue. Top note of old leather, stewed fruit and cedar – showing its age. The fruit on the palate is drying out, with flavours of cedar, stewed fruit and spice evident, overlaid with a hint of varnish and old leather. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of old leather and cedar.
