2001 d'Arenberg The Galvo Garage Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine has been made from a blend of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Very appealing nose, with aroma of violets, blackcurrant and spice. On the palate, flavours of liquorice, spice and blackcurrant emerge over a dark chocolate background. Fine firmish dry tannins, followed by a long aftertaste of blackcurrant, dark chocolate, liquorice and toasted oak.
