...another top Pinot that will blossom superbly with time.

PHILLIP MORAGHAN’S single minded obsession with Burgundy combined with the assistance of GARRY FARR as winemaker is yielding consistently outstanding results for Curly Flat. This is another top Pinot that will blossom superbly with time. Deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Medium body, quite impressive for a cool climate Pinot. The nose is pronounced, with aroma of spice, strawberry, dark cherry, truffle and anise emerging. Mouthfilling palate, with flavours of spice, dark cherry, toasted oak, very ripe strawberry and a touch of beetroot. There is plenty of palate weight and the necessary Pinot power wave is evident. Fine grained tannins, a touch firmish, but supported by good acidity and very long aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and ripe strawberry.
