2001 Cullen Chardonnay

This wine has been whole bunch pressed, and fermented with natural yeasts. Bright straw colour with subtle green hue. The nose is quite complex with aroma of hazelnut, butterscotch, yeast lees, cashew and biscuit, showing strong barrel ferment character. The palate has excellent length with flavours of citrus, biscuit, yeast lees, toasted oak and butterscotch. Crisp acid finish followed by a very long aftertaste of citrus, butterscotch, yeast lees and hazelnut.
