2001 Campbells Bobbie Burns Shiraz
Brick red colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Aroma of stewed fruit, leather and earth with end notes of stewed plum and confectionary. The palate lacks the robustness that has traditionally been associated with Rutherglen reds. Flavours of spice and stewed fruit emerge followed by a hint of leather and black pepper. Fine dry tannins. Aftertaste of spice and stewed fruit.
