Grape variety: 100% Brachetto D’ Acqui
Vinification: The grapes are naturally fermented to produce a light red “frizzante” wine (semi-sparkling) Fermentation takes place in temperature controlled steel vats. Controlled fermentation allows the wine to retain some residual sugar. Pressure-controlled bottling at various rates assists in retaining the freshness and individuality of the bouquet. The grapes are harvested and produced in mid September using traditional methods, with a 2 month period of bottle ageing prior to release.
Characteristics: Light Ruby Red with purple Hues. It has lively foam and small continuous perlage. An aromatic nose with hints if ripe red fruit and roses. On the palate, the residual sugar makes it sweet, soft and delicate with a persistent flavour.
