2001 Boynton's Paiko Merlot

Deep crimson brick red colour with brick red hue. The nose displays ripe fruit notes, with aroma of stewed fruit, plum and spice followed by subtle notes of earth, leather and liquorice. The palate reveals flavours of earth, plum and spice followed by a stewed fruit background. Fine grained tannins with aftertaste of plum and stewed fruit. A commercial style.
