2001 Box Stallion Red Barn Chardonnay

Bright deep straw colour, showing some barrel ferment qualities. Aroma of biscuit, butterscotch, spice, yeast lees and hazelnut. The palate does not display much depth – nuances of butterscotch, yeast lees and spice appear followed by a hint of citrus and grapefruit. Creamy texture. Soft acid finish followed by grapefruit, butterscotch aftertaste.
