A well made wine, but not one of the great examples of Bowen Estate. Very deep crimson colour with crimson hue. Aroma of confectionary, blackcurrant and cedar with just a hint of mint emerging – all showing very good Cabernet varietal character. On the palate, flavours of confectionary, blackcurrant and cedar with just a hint of dark chocolate. Fine grained tannins followed by a long confectionary, spice and blackcurrant aftertaste.
