2001 Blue Pyrenees Estate Vintage Brut

This wine is made from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The mousse is very impressive. Slightly coarse bead with moderate persistence. Straw colour base wine. On the nose there is a touch of toast with good yeast autolysis character. Creamy palate texture. The acidity a touch on the high side, with lemon flavours dominating the wine. Clean acid finish. Lightly toasted aftertaste.
