The Beyerskloof Vineyard is part owned by Beyerds Truter, regarded as the Pinotage King, and Simon Halliday, the UK importer. The Pinotage is derived from a cultivar of Pinot Noir and Cinsaut. The vines are unirrigated and vary in age, between 20 -40 years old. Production of this wine is about 100,000 cases. Some of the fruit is estate grown, whilst the balance is sourced from 8-9 growers from the Bottelary region.

Very deep crimson colour, with deep crimson hue. The nose is scented, with notes of raspberry, violet, spice, confectionary and earth emerging. The palate displays fine dryish tannins, slightly chalky over a background of raspberry, cherry, confectionary and spice. Long aftertaste of cherry and raspberry. Limited Stocks.
