2001 Barossa Valley Estate Spires Shiraz Cabernet

The Barossa Valley Estate Spires continues to deliver a very approachable, early drinking red. Bright crimson mauve colour. Medium body. Aroma of spice and plum, followed by a hint of stewed fruit and a subtle blackpepper end note. On the palate there is good weight with flavours of chocolate and mocca over a spicy back palate. Soft tannins, followed by an aftertaste of spice, dark chocolate and blackcurrant.
