2001 Bannockburn Shiraz

An excellent cool climate Shiraz. Very deep black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Perfumed nose of violets, spice, blackberry and liquorice allsorts – a superb sniff. The palate reflects the wine’s cool climate origins, with flavours of blackpepper and whitepepper emerging. Perfect balance, fine grained tannins, elegant structure, followed by a very long spice, confectionary and blackpepper aftertaste.
