An outstanding expression of Coonawarra Cabernet. Totally black colour with black crimson hue. The nose is superb, showing classic lifted Cabernet notes of violets, cassis and blackcurrant followed by a dark chocolate endnote. The palate structure is tightly knit and will need time to evolve. Flavours of blackcurrant, liquorice and spice are enhanced with toasted oak. Fine dry tannins. Aftertaste of dark chocolate, black cherry and spice.
