2000 Bannockburn Pinot Noir

Garry Farr has made an enormous contribution to the reputation of Geelong as a wine making district. Whichever variety he works with there is the unique Garry Farr stamp.

Bright crimson colour. Translucent. The nose is unmistakably Pinot Noir with that wonderful array of aroma and counterpoints. Intense nose of game, dark cherry, spice and strawberry are carefully overlayed by subtle oak notes. Mouthfilling palate with outstanding power wave. Strong flavours of cherry, spice, liquorice and game. Perfect balance, velvet smooth tannins, followed by an exceptionally long aftertaste of cherry, liquorice and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years. (2005-2006)
