Very deep brick red colour with mauve edges. Aroma of chocolate, blackcurrant, cedar, spice and vanilla. Generous palate flavours with blackcurrant and spice dominant. Fine grained tannins. Spice, stewed fruit aftertaste. Cellar 4-5 years.
Retasted: November 2001
Deep brick red colour, with deep brick red hue. Aroma of dark chocolate and spice with background notes of blackcurrant and liquorice. The palate flavours are light, and lack depth and complexity. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of spice and blackcurrant. Cellar 1-2 years (2002-2003).
