1999 Yarra Burn Bastard Hill Chardonnay

Brilliant gold colour with pale gold hue. Superb developed nose, with notes of hazelnut, cashew and biscuit emerging, followed by yeast lees showing bottle age and barrel ferment character. The palate has weight, with tertiary flavours emerging. Hazelnut, spice and cashew flavours are dominant. Soft acid finish. Aftertaste of cashew, yeast lees and biscuit followed by nuances of butterscotch.
