1999 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

A tight Wynns Cabernet, which needs a few years bottle age to evolve. Very deep crimson colour. Delightful nose of vanilla, blackcurrant and spice. The palate is tightly knit, with the blackcurrant flavours forming the backtone over a very tight tannin structure. The grip is a touch too firm for immediate drinking, but that is the nature of Cabernet. Aftertaste of blackcurrant and spice. Cellar 4 – 5 years. (2005 – 2006)
