1999 Woodstock Cabernet Sauvignon

Scott Collett continues to make impressive wines. Very deep crimson colour. Aroma of dark plum, earth, spice, blackcurrant and vanilla, followed by a hint of aniseed. On the palate, earthy, spice, blackcurrant and leather palate flavours. Impressive length, with fine grained tannins. Velvet smooth, followed by a long aftertaste of earth, liquorice and blackcurrant. Cellar 3 - 4 years. (2004 - 2005)
