1999 Wood Park Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz

Opaque deep crimson colour with crimson brick red hue. The nose displays a pronounced leather and earth character which forms the backbone of the wine. Under the ‘animal’ notes are layers of spice, liquorice and stewed fruit. Earth and plum palate flavours, with the stewed fruit being quite pronounced. Firmish, dry, persistent tannins, followed by an aftertaste of earth, plum and leather.
