1999 Warrenmang Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

This is the first release of a straight Cabernet from Warrenmang Estate for 15 years. Very deep brick red crimson colour. Excellent Bordeaux nose with hints of violets, over a blackcurrant, cedar and spice background. The palate displays excellent structure for the long haul. Flavour of ripe blackcurrant, spice and cedar. Fine grained, dry tannins with long aftertaste of plum, spice and liquorice, with dry tannins lingering on. Cellar 5-8 years.
